The second week of school the ninth grade spends two nights and three days in the woods on the campus of The Indian Mountain School. The program is provided by Indian Mountain Adventure, operated by Steven Werntz. We work through various group problem solving activities on the first two days, and on the third day, boys attempt individual challenges on the high ropes. We cook our own meals, have campfires in the evening, and sleep in a leanto. Prior to the trip we plan our menu and discuss problem solving. The main goals of the trip are to develop leadership skills and provide a bonding experience for the ninth graders.
Indian Mountain A-S Permission Slip is the A-S permission slip. NOTE: This is an emergency copy, you will need to change the dates, etc. and should be used only as a last resort. This year's permission slip is on the US website at the A-S website.
